Hound Dog Houndstooth Skirt $37

I'm sure I will be adding more houndstooth designs to this page since it's a fall staple in my closet but for the moment I've paired a Brown Houndstooth skirt with a tan cableknit sweater for a monochromatic look. Add a burgundy belt to add a little bit of a fall touch and of course pearls.

They Fell in Love in Plaid

Plaid is one of my favorite fabrics to style. There are always so many colors to choose from when creating an outfit. You can either play up the different colors like I did with the Flannel Berry Plaid skirt pairing it with a coordinating maroon cardigan (with elbow patches!) and a two-toned turquoise necklace. Or keep it simple for the holiday (or any) season in a white ruffled button down, navy tights, and the Red Mad for Plaid skirt.  Plus how do you say no to a bow?

I'm slowly becoming obsessed with this apple print skirt! I can't wait to get style it some other ways but I love it with a plain red sweater and leather belt.

I added some riding boots to this outfit for a morning of apple picking.
